How do I Sign Up?

What Payment Options do I have?

You can pay using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or paypal. We do not accept checks or money orders. If you have chosen the month-to-month subscription: You will be billed initially on the day you signed up with your credit card, and then the first of every month until you decide to cancel.
If you have chosen the 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year subscription: You will be charged the full amount upfront. After the segment of months, you will be charged again, until you'd like to cancel.

What comes in a SketchBox?

A group of hand selected art supplies, a piece of art made with them, and access to an educational video. The basic box is a great introductory box and starts at $25 plus shipping. Our premium box is $35 plus shipping and has higher quality supplies that tend to be more expensive.

How do I become a Featured Artist?

How are SketchBox monthly boxes shipped?

Boxes sent to addresses in the USA are shipped via UPS Mail innovations and/or USPS. UPS mail innovations handles the delivery to your local post office and USPS handles the delivery to the address provided to us during checkout. The final delivery will be handled by USPS. Our international shipments are shipped via Asendia and your local post. Typical delivery times are 2-8 business days for addresses in the USA and 7-14 business days for Canada. International orders outside of the USA and Canada could take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. We make no guarantee of delivery times since each local post is different and customs can delay our packages without warning.

How are SketchBox one-time orders shipped?

If you ordered a past box or item from the shop portion of our site, it is a one-time purchase and will be sent via USPS first class, USPS priority, or UPS 2nd day (weight determines the shipping method). All international one-time orders are shipped via UPS E-Packet.

Where do you ship?

We currently only ship to the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, France, Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, and Japan. Shipping is $6.50 to the USA, $10 to Canada, and $16 to all other countries. These prices are for our normal monthly subscription boxes, please note shipping on orders from our shop will vary with total number of items, weight, and location. Please note we are not responsible for duties charged.

When will it ship?

Our boxes ship around the 25th of the month prior to arrive right around the 1st. For example our December boxes ship by November 25th. We wish we could hand deliver each box, however, we're at the mercy of the postal carrier and sometimes delays are outside of our control. If it's after the first of the month and your tracking number hasn't updated please contact customer service at [email protected] and we'll be happy to assist you.

How do I change my address?

All address changes must be made by the 15th of the month when we start packing our boxes. You can change your address from your account login. Once logged into your account click the edit button under the shipping address section to change your current address. Adding an address does not automatically change the shipping address, please double check the "Your Subscriptions" section on the left side of the login page to make sure that is proper address. What is a cutoff date?

If you're wondering where your box is please note we have a cutoff date. The cutoff date starts the orders for the following month. It is 10 days before the end of the month. This is standard for almost all subscription companies.

What is the Cutoff date for this month?

We have a cutoff date of June 20th at 4:00 pm PT. If you ordered your SketchBox on June 23rd for example, your first box would be our August box which would ship as close as possible to the 25th of July.

Why the cut off date?

We need 10 days at the end of the month to ensure we have enough time to pack and ship all of our boxes.

What if my box shows delivered but I can't find it?

We rely on our customers to be able to safely receive their monthly boxes, we are not responsible for replacing boxes that show delivered. We appreciate your understanding.

What's your Cancellation Policy?

You may cancel at any time from your account login. To cancel click the edit button in the "your subscriptions" field, and select the option to cancel on the bottom left of the page. You have the ability to skip renewals easily through your customer profile as well, allowing you to maintain your subscription according to your personal needs. Just click the edit button in the "your subscriptions" field and select the button to "skip next renewal". If you've requested a cancellation via email or through our support system they will be processed during normal business hours and thus we strongly recommend managing your subscription through your account to avoid any unwanted renewals.

What's your Refund Policy?

Refunds are not automatically applied due to a cancellation request. Many of our customers cancel their subscriptions in order to avoid future renewals but still wish to receive the boxes that have been paid for. For this reason, refunds are not automatically applied upon cancellation - they must be requested. We will provide a refund for your box as long it's requested before the 15th of the previous month. For example a refund for the June box would need to be requested by the 15th of May. Once we reach the 15th we prepare your box for shipment and a refund will not be provided. Gift cards are non refundable. If you're requesting a refund for a prepaid subscription you will receive a prorated refund for all boxes received at full price. We do not provide refunds for any box that has shipped.

How do I update my credit card info?

You can update your credit card information via the account page at any time. Just login to your account, and update the info under the "Credit Card" section.
