What Payment Options do I have?

You can pay using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. We do not accept checks or money orders. If you have chosen the month-to-month subscription: You will be billed initially on the day you signed up with your credit card, and then the first of every month until you decide to cancel.
If you have chosen the 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year subscription: You will be charged the full amount upfront. After the segment of months, you will be charged again, until you'd like to cancel.

What comes in a SketchBox?

A group of hand selected art supplies, and one piece of art to inspire you. The premium box has higher quality supplies that tend to be more expensive.

What's the difference between a gift and regular subscription?

Gift Subscriptions have the option to be renewed or not. Regular subscriptions renew.

How do I become a Featured Artist?

Email an example of your work to [email protected] and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

How is SketchBox shipped?

Our domestic boxes going to addresses in the USA are shipped via USPS. Our international shipments are shipped via Asendia and your local post. It will take 2-8 business days for addresses in the USA and 7-14 business days for Canada.

Where do you ship?

We currently only ship to the USA and Canada. Shipping is $5 to the US and $10 to Canada.

When will it ship?

It ships around the 25 of the month to arrive right around the 1st of the following month. Please note: we are not responsible for delays in the carrier's service.

What is a cutoff date?

If you're wondering where your box is please note we have a cutoff date. The cutoff date starts the orders for the following month. It is 10 days before the end of the month. This is standard for almost all subscription companies.

What is the Cutoff date for this month?

We have a cutoff date of October 21st at 4:00 pm PST. If you ordered your SketchBox on October 23rd for example, your first box would be our December box which would ship the 25th of November.

Why the cut off date?

We need 10 days at the end of the month to ensure we have enough time to pack and ship all of our boxes.

What if my box shows delivered but I can't find it?

We rely on our customers to be able to safely receive their monthly boxes, we are not responsible for replacing boxes that show delivered. We appreciate your understanding.

What if my box never actually comes?

WE WILL FIX THAT RIGHT AWAY, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. Before you contact support please check to see if your box was ordered after our cutoff date!

What's your Cancellation Policy?

You're welcome to cancel whenever you'd like. We're sad to hear you're trying to cancel - please tell us how we could have improved your experience. Cancel from within your account login. Due to holidays if you have requested a cancellation through our support system, we are NOT responsible to process it before the renewal and thus we URGE you to cancel yourself from your account. Please note: if you're canceling a prepaid subscription and requesting a refund you will receive a prorated refund for the boxes at full price.

What's your Refund Policy?

We will provide a refund for your box as long it's requested before the 15th of the previous month. For example a refund for the June box would need to be requested by the 15th of May. Once we reach the 15th we prepare your box for shipment and a refund will not be provided. If you're asking for a refund because you didn't cancel your subscription through your account log in in time, please note that we will charge a 5% fee to process the refund. Why the fee? We pay a percentage for every credit card that we process and when you request a refund we don't get it back. Please note that gift subscriptions purchased before April 20th 2016 are NOT eligible for refunds once they've been claimed. Gift cards are also non refundable.

How do I update my credit card info?

You can update your credit card information via the account page at any time. Just login to your account, and update the info under the "Credit Card" section.
