This Premium Box is all about teaching value! Inside this box, you'll find a Nitram Charcoal Starter Kit. Perfect for any artist, this premium kit has a variety of charcoal for any situation. Harder charcoal will yield stronger lines and lighter values: Softer charcoal will create strong blacks and soft blends. Use the included block to sharpen your charcoal to a point. To expand on your charcoals we have included a CretaColor Charcoal 3 piece set. The soft, medium, and hard leads are perfect for fine details. The next item in this box is the Rembrandt Pastel in Grey, which will help you bring objects to the foreground of your piece. Additionally, you will receive Sharpie Peel-Off China Markers in Black & White, which work great on top of the charcoal to create the darkest blacks and strongest whites. To create blends in your art we have included the Hero Arts Blending Brush. To help with highlights or correct mistakes, we have included a Kneaded Eraser. Finally, our surface for this box is a custom Stillman & Birn Nova Series in the color grey. This 4x6 15-sheet pack is perfect for dry media, ink, and light washes. Its subtle texture is enough to grip the charcoal in this month's box while still allowing smooth blends.
