This box is all about ink! We have included the Koh-I-Noor Rapidograph Universal Ink in Black. The shellac used in the ink formula creates a waterproof ink that can be used on both paper and film substrates. The black ink is highly opaque and can be diluted with water to create a variety of tones. To help you mix your inks you will receive the Art Alternatives 2 Well Cupcake Palette. The brush in this box is the King Art round size 8. This synthetic brush is great for ink work and allows for a variety of marks and ink washes. To help you create shadows and detail work you will receive the Pentel Micro. Brush Pen in Grey. This pen has an extra fine brush nib and the water-based dye ink works great with the other items in this box. Finally, to add a pop of color to your art you will receive the Kuretake Brush Writer in Pink. This wonderfully vibrant brush pen offers striking color on its own and the ink can be diluted with water for more subtle effects. Our surface in this month's box is a custom Hahnemuhle Agave pad. This pad is 135lbs, 4x6", and includes 10 sheets.
